How do I get a fullscreen display on my 7" frame?
|
The physical resolution of the LCD display is 480(H) x 234(L), with nearly 16:9
(width : height) aspect ratio. Every photo being scaled to fit the 16:9 aspect ratio
will give rise to a full screen display (no black vertical side bars) on the LCD
screen. Since most of the photos have a 4:3 or 3:2 aspect ratio, scaling of these
photos without keeping the aspect ratio will give rise to a significantly distorted
display (photos will look compressed vertically and enlarged horizontally). Another
way to make a full screen display is to crop the photos to fit the 16:9 aspect ratio.
This way, the photos displayed will not be distorted, but part of the photo area
at the top and bottom of the original photo will be lost.
photos by scaling them to make use of maximum veritcal space while maintaining the
original aspect ratio. This provides the the best display quality, while at the
same time, keeping all the details of the original photos.
