Why can I not connect to a Wi-Fi network?
|
Connection problems can be caused by many things. We'll start with some basics...
First, your eStarling may be too far away from your Wi-Fi hub. Try moving the frame
closer to the hub for a better connection.
If you are using WEP encryption, double-check
that you are entering your WEP key correctly. A misspelled key will prevent a connection.
If you are still having trouble, please send a message to support@estarling.com
about your setup, including what make and model of wireless router or access point
you are using, including what hardware and firmware version. If you are using multiple
routers or access points, provide more detail about how everything is configured.
Charles--Should we delete this? ((Ensure that you're using the first key in the
router's setup if it lets you specify multiple keys If your router has an option
for this, try switching the authentication type (e.g. from shared key to open system
or vice versa) to see if that helps We are not support WPA at this moment. It's
coming in our next firmware update. ))
